If you’re looking for things to do in Bowral, this Bowral Wineries Tour has it all. Explore the local wineries in Bowral and surrounding areas of the Southern Highlands. Enjoy beautiful scenery, award-winning Southern Highlands wine and yummy local gourmet food.
This wine tour is perfect for individuals, couples or small groups looking to join up with other smaller groups.
We will pick you up from your accommodation or choose your own local pick up location in Wollongong, Mittagong, Bowral or surrounding areas. – there is a space on the booking form for you to nominate your departure location.
On this Kenny Escapes tour, we will take you to experience the very best of Bowral and the Southern Highlands, visiting three of the Bowral/Southern Highlands’ most popular wineries, you will enjoy a one-course lunch at a winery, a glass of wine with lunch and local chesse and gourmet produce platters with one of your wine tasting experiences.
Whilst your tour itinerary may not be exactly as the below on your tour, as we like to visit many different wineries on our range of tours, it will be similar to what is described in the itinerary below. There are so many great places to visit in the Southern Highlands!
An example Itinerary of our Bowral Wineries Tour…
After picking you up from your accommodation in Bowral or surrounding areas, we will get going! and head straight to one of the most famous wineries in Bowral – Centennial Vineyards for the first of our Bowral Wineries. Your wine tasting experience Centennial Vineyards will be a mix of reds, whites, sparkling and late harvest wines will be served (as it should be!) with a local cheese and produce platter.
Next stop, Bendooley Estate, by far one of the most talked about venues in all of Bowral and the Southern Highlands – appreciate grandeur at its best with Bendooley Estate’s stunning buildings, picturesque Southern Highlands country landscape and an iconic bookstore – it truly is a spectacular destination in Bowral and we are excited to take you there on this tour.
Lunchtime will be enjoyed either at a winery or popular local restaurant/cafe. You will enjoy a one-course lunch served with a glass of wine from a local winery.
The wine tour finishes with a wine tasting at one of our smaller boutique wineries Sutton Forrest Estate Wines for an intimate tasting experience with the wine maker himself where you will taste their wines, see the property and witness their deep love for the wine making and its rich history.
After Sutton Forrest Estate’s wine tasting, we will head home with bellies full of food and great wine, possibly with a few new friends and most certainly with fond memories of your Bowral Wineries Tour.
TICKETS MUST BE PRE-PURCHASED – ticket sales will close the Thursday before the tour.
*Please Note: A minimum number of ticket sales (7) are required for tours to operate. If ticket sales are below the minimum number required, the tour will be cancelled and a full refund provided. You will be notified of the intent to cancel no later than 48 hours prior to your booking date via the email address you provide on the booking form.

- 10:00am -11:00am (approx.): Bus Departs from a location of your choice in the Wollongong, Bowral or Mittagong areas. Exact departure times will be confirmed closer to the tour date
- Winery 1: Centennial Vineyards* for wine tasting and a cheese and produce sample plate
- Winery 2: Bendooley Estate* for a wine tasting experience
- Next stop: Lunch at a winery or popular local restaurant/cafe for a One Course Lunch with glass of local wine, beer or softdrink
- Winery 3: Sutton Forrest Estate* for wine tasting and a behind the scenes tour of wine-making
- 4:00pm: Bus Returns to Mittagong
